I don't know any European places that sell cheaper software for older embroidery machines to work well other than eBay occasionally. Now, hopefully, if I buy it I'll be able to, and others reading this post, will be able to also. I was always disappointed that I couldn't download designs from the internet. I walked around the house in disbelief that I'd spent over $3,000 on a sewing machine! Lotsa money for the time!!! I bought the one my daughter has brand new in, I think, 1995 or so. I know that the Janome 9000 is a fine machine. He said that the advantage to me of owning a box like this is that, should I come across memory cards from any other company, I could use the box to upload them to my computer and convert them to the USB stick that a Janome 350 uses. Or, I did find his page years ago but didn't have a clue as to what I was reading or how it would work with my computer and the sewing machine. I missed that somehow in all my searches. He says they've been available on his site since 2000. I'd call just to make certain I am getting the right item for the Janome 9000Įmail: neglected to ask if I had to have any certain type of operating system on my computer. They can be bought online.but I didn't see any links to a shopping cart on that page. I didn't purchase it yet because it is my daughter that actually owns the Janome 9000 and it would be up to her. He said that it will write to a rewritable Janome Memory card. I'm assuming he means a regular electric socket. It also needs to be plugged into a power source.

He said there are 3 slots in the box (to accept various sorts of cards from other manufacturers) and that it connects to the computer via a USB cord. He told me that the box that will work with the Janome 9000 is the PES 2 Card. I called and spoke with a man named Larry. I found the chart confusing to understand and I didn't know which to buy, so I phoned. The newer versions such as the Magic Box Mini or whatever it's called, do not work with Janome 9000Ĭlick the first link to see the converter boxes he has and all the embroidery machine formats that each will work with. The Ulitmate box is available but does not work with Janome 9000 The Magic Box product is no longer available. Since over 15 thousand have read this post, I'll add what I've learned today.
